She was predeceased by : her parents, Boyd Ray and Ara Wyers Howell; her husband Joe Dexter Dunavant; and her daughter Teresa Faye Dunavant Bowles. She is survived by : her son Tim Dunavant (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Brad Bowles (Brittney), Kaycee Bowles Rogers (Stephen), Madelyn Dunavant Hester (Jake), Katelyn Dunavant and Kendallyn Dunavant; her great grandchildren, McKinley Bowles, Gracelyn Bowles, Eli Rogers, Sawyer Bowles and Emily Rogers; her brothers, Aaron Howell (Pam) and Douglas Howell (Patsy); and her son-in-law Dennis Bowles. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Whites Chapel Church of Christ. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at the Adjoining Cemetery.
