She was predeceased by : her husband Reverend Charles A. Rice; her parents, James Claude and Lillie Deerman Hayes; and her siblings, Billy Claude Hayes and Betty Hayes Tilley.

She is survived by : her son Jim Rice (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Andy Rice and Kaywin Joyce (Cameron); and her great grandchildren, Luke and Emerson Rice. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to Lowerytown Baptist Church building fund.
