She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Files and Cora Hale Files; her husband Carl Palmer; her son Jerry Palmer; and her siblings, Paul Files, Mack Files and Libby Hancock.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Fletcher of Arkadelphia, Kathy Benedict of Hot Springs, Patty (Johnny Gould), Jackie (Brad Harrelson), Dean (Pam Palmer) and Terry (Corina Palmer). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
