With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Anderson of Augusta, Arkansas, who passed away on August 9, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Rebecca departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Rebecca. Though Rebecca may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph E. Derrick and Sarah Ghent Sade; and her brother John Derrick. She is survived by: her husband David Anderson; her children, Tina May and Josh Hardin (Anna); and her stepchildren, Marc Anderson (Sallianne) and Gray Anderson. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Powell Funeral Home of Woodruff County (700 N 9th St, Augusta, AR 72006). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Augusta Memorial Park.
