He is survived by: his wife Marla Acree Melton; his children, Daniel Melton (Laura) of Cabot and Joanna Hanna (Jason) of Ward; his grandchildren, Emilia Melton, Annelise Melton, Noah Hanna and Molly Beth Hanna; his siblings, James Melton, Jr. (Rebecca) of Lonsdale, North Little Rock of Lonsdale and Donna Creasy (Darryl) of Lonsdale; his father James Melton; and his mother-in-law Betty Acree Johnson of Cabot.
