It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laura Gibbs of Bald Knob, Arkansas, born in Paragould, Arkansas, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Thomas and Oaney Bell Merritt Oden; her husband Gallard A. Burton; her son Melvin Burton (Dewayne); and her siblings, James, Edward (Ed), Larry, Bobby, Buck, Dewey Oden, Lorene and Mary Oden.

She is survived by : her pet Teddy; her children, Charles Burton (Carol Payton) of Yellville, Arkansas and Shirley Gregory of Yellville, Arkansas; and her sister Bertie Theodorapoulas of Bald Knob, Arkansas.
