She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Rusell and Lillie Barie Bennett; her husband Hobson Elrod, Jr.; and her sons, Hobson Elrod, III and Stephan Elrod.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Elrod of Dyersburg and Harry Elrod of Joiner. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
