He is survived by: his parents, Fred Heckman and Llano Wilson Heckman; his wife Carolyn Heckman; his sons, Heath Heckman (Linda) of Charleston, SC and Bryan Heckman; his grandchildren, Whitney Snyder (Matt), Will Heckman and Catherine Grace Heckman; his great grandchild Benjamin of Remmy; his niece Marsha Coleman; and his nephew Roger Coleman. He is also survived by three sisters in law and a host of other family and friends.
