She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Owen and Beulah Audry Carpenter; and her husband Glenn Tyson. She is survived by: her children, Glenn Riley Tyson, Jolene Squires and Alana Tyson; her siblings, J. L., James, Steve Carpenter, Estlene Jones, Elveda Smith and Betty Barcus; and her grandchildren, Glenn R. Tyson Jr., Trampas W. Tyson, Joseph Bryan Naylor, Anthony J. Tyson and Richard M. Tyson. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
