He was predeceased by: his parents, A. B. Carter, Jr. and Lucile Wynn Carter. He is survived by: his wife Linda Carter; his children, Bryan Carter and Kelly Carter; his grandchildren, Austin, Dustin Carter and Baylor McElhaney; and his sisters, Beverly Parker (Mike) and Margaret Wynn (Mickey). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
