He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Saunders and Geraldine Gray Saunders; his children, Dewayne "Bubba" Saunders and Marva Jill Saunders; his sister Marilyn Smith; his grandparents, Gerald, Katie Gray, T. B. and Jessie Saunders; his wife Brenda Booker Saunders; his sons, Brent Saunders (Amy) of Benton and Greg Saunders (Theda) of Vilonia; his daughter-in-law Janet Saunders of Roe; and his stepgrandchildren, Emily Willhite and Gracen Willhite. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Arkansas Children's Hospital or Arkansas Baptist Children's Home of Texarkana.
