With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Venita Garner Lammey of Benton, Arkansas, born in Lonsdale, Arkansas, who passed away on October 16, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Stephen Monroe Garner and Lura Norman Garner; her husband Guinn G. Lammey; and her siblings, Edith Hardin, Enos Garner, Nellie Rigsby, Pauline Doss, James Garner and Loy Garner.

She is survived by : her sons, Hal Lammey (Tamara) of Benton, Steve Lammey (Pam) of Louisiana and Crestman Lammey (Clarice) of Texas; and her sisters, Mittie Rowland of Hot Springs and Ruth Geurin of Siloam Springs. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

It breaks our hearts that we couldn't be there for mom because of Covid, but we believe God sent others to minister to her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice or Saline Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund in Tull, Arkansas.
