He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Mize; his son Jerry Mize; his granddaughter Twilla Stricklin; and his brother Elvin Mize. He is survived by: his children, Janet Nichols (Tommy), Kenneth Mize (Jenay), Terry Mize (Sondra) and Randy Mize (Gale); his daughter-in-law Kaye Ramsey (Nubbin); and his sister Jewel Freeman. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
