It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Towery (Black Oak, Arkansas), born in Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on October 10, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Troy Towery and Vera Towery; and his siblings, Lola Bell Turner, Charles "Cowboy" Towery, Elbert "Hoppy" Towery, Cecil Towery and Olen Towery.

He is survived by : his nephew Frank Towery (Lorrie) of Black Oak, AR; and his sisters, Luvelle Turney of Dell, AR and Lula Pearl Turney of Brookland, AR. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
