He was predeceased by: his parents, John Battles Sr. and Dorothy Knowles; and his siblings, Robert Earl Battles, Bruce Ramsey and Maxcine Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Payne Battles; his children, Dominique Battles of Hot Springs, Trina Mayfield (Darnell) of Cairo and Schnell Bell (Cordarrel) of Gosnell, Arkansas.; and his siblings, Walter Battles (Angel) of Nashville, Dewayne Ramsey of Milwaukee, Arlester Hill of Blytheville, Arkansas, Rose Taylor of Milwaukee, Linda Moore (Ricky) of Blytheville and Brenda Dixon (Earnest) of Blytheville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eternal Salvation Church (1914 Cherry St, Blytheville, AR 72315). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
