With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda James of Blytheville, Arkansas, born in Dell, Arkansas, who passed away on June 7, 2020. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Johnson and Ruthie Smith Johnson; and her husband Donald James. She is survived by : her daughters, Donna Miller (Joe) of Armorel, Cindy Barnes (Tim) and Jessica Cooper (Marcus Yancey) of Blytheville; her siblings, Wayne Johnson of Monroe, Doyle Johnson of Houston, Texas, Lucille Hill of Luxora and Georgia Hobbleman of Clearwater, Florida; her close friend Richard Kyle of Blytheville; and her daughter Lisa Holt Taylor. She is also survived by two grandsons; 11 great-grandchildren.

Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, no more than 50 people will be allowed to gather inside of Cobb Funeral Home at one time and practice social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another.
