She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellington Yates and Anice Hames Yates; her husband Willie Tarkington; her son Thomas Lewis Oglesby, Jr.; her grandson John Thomas Oglesby; and her siblings, Eva Jo Morrow, Roy, Willie and Bill Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughter Jackie Barnes of Bryant; and her brother G. W. Wilson of Glen Rose. She is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.
