He was predeceased by : his parents, Herschel Skelton and Avis Moore; his stepfather Emmett Moore; his sisters, Linda Moore and Ramona Davenport; and his children, Charlotte Skelton, Ronnie Skelton and David Skelton.

He is survived by : his wife Dee Skelton; his brother Richard Moore; and his children, Donna Remphrey, Kasey Wilson and Jason Wilson. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.
