He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Martha Vann Lee; his children, Allan Stanford, Jr. (Cindy), Julie Stanford and Joe Stanford; and his grandchildren, Jason Gornto (Lindsay), Mary Beth Stanford Picker (Casey), Jill Gornto Raymond (Donald), Allan Stanford III (Lindsay), Bill Stanford (Mei-Lyn) and Mihaela Stanford. He was also cherished by sixteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association or other benevolent organizations.
