He was predeceased by: his brother Dustin Pearson of Brinkley; and his nephew Dillan Matthews of Bryant. He is survived by: his daughter Ashlyn Pearson; his parents, Julie Rodgers (David) and Ronnie Denney (Cathy); his grandchildren, Virginia Campbell of Moro, Half, Nathan Denney (Jennifer) of Cabot and Rachel Jones (Lane) of Winslow; his stepsiblings, Wendy Vinsett (Carl) of Alexander, Wade, Rodney of Florida and Many; and his friend Debora Smith.
Due to Shane's brother, Dustin's, diagnosis at a young age with Cystic Fibrosis and receiving double lungs due to organ donation, Shane easily made the decision early on to donate his organs in hopes that he can help someone else as Dustin was helped by adding years to his life.
