It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Beard-Goyson (Camden, Arkansas), who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Gilbert and Mary Beard; her brother Michael Beard; and her granddaughter Ta'Mariana Goyson. She is survived by: her children, Monika Zentaras Goyson of Camden, AR., Brandy Celena Kendrick of Camden, AR., Bridgette Cecilin Carter of Camden, AR., Ulysses Eugene Carroll of Camden, AR. and Nikita Abdullah-Donohoo; her siblings, Douglas Beard (Ann) of Camden, AR, Lanita Howard of KAnsas City, MO, Jarvis Beard of Durham, NC, Anthony Beard of Fort Smith, AR, Shirley Beard of Chesapeake, VA and Zachary Beard of Beaumont, TX; her grandchildren, Xavier Davis, Tyrese Henry, Marcina Carter, Zintiara Carroll, Carlton Henry, Jr., D'Torriond Gordon, Na'Jyrae Gordon and Christian Kendrick; her close friends, Joyce Campbell, Mary Ann Howard, Cassandra Holmes Moore and Linda Thompson; her cousin Patricia Ann Laster; and her siblings' children, Artavia Beard and MeKhi Seals. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
