She was predeceased by: her parents, Perley Mitchell and Lucille Mitchell; her stepfather Lawrence W. Young; and her siblings, Perley Lee Mitchell and Violet Ann Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, William Lawson (Janis) of Hot Springs, AR and Betty Lawson of Hot Springs, AR; her sibling's children, Thomas Johnson (Pam) of Goodyear, AR, Susan Johnson Reed (Chase) of Ashland, OR and Sarah Johnson Ringe (Glenn) of Show Low, AZ; and her grandchildren, David S. Lawson of Fayetteville, AR, Blu Alexander of Kansas City, MO and Michelle Francois of San Diego, CA..
