He was predeceased by: his parents, Gale and Gloria (Prather); his sister Robin Swanson; and his parents-in-law, Marie, Teddy Kilburn, Sr. and Will.

He is survived by: his wife Pamela Kilburn of Camden; his siblings, Randy Swanson of St. John and Renae Swanson of Warren; his siblings' children, Alexis Swanson-Coleman and Roman Swanson (Gisselle); his stepdaughter Jennifer Holt; and his grandchildren, Devon, Logan and Chloe. He is also survived by step-daughter and her children, whom he treated like grandchildren.
