He was predeceased by: his parents, Morse Mallett and Lula Mallett. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Mallett; his children, Beau Mallett (Brittani) of Jonesboro, Brooke Hauk (Jay) of Carlisle and Blane Mallett (Amy) of Lake Village; his grandchildren, Barrett, Brandt Mallett, Baylor, Gracen, Greer Hauk, Mia and Molly Mallett; and his siblings, Tent Mallett (Kay), Jeannine Jolly (Ronnie), Jim Mallett (Debbie) and Mark Mallett (Jean). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
