It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernie Gene Phillips (Charleston, Arkansas), born in Newark, Arkansas, who passed away on December 20, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Geraldine Caden, Georgianna West, Sue McAfee, Van Bazile, Patsy Knight, Grisham Phillips, Robert Phillips and Max Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Janice O'Neal Phillips; and his stepchildren, Marjorie Rogers of Casper, Lisa Miller of Branch and Mitchell Gardner of Batesville, Arkansas. He is also survived by six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
