He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Wilson and Nellie Mae Wilson (Hunter); his son Douglas Wilson; and his siblings, Fred Wilson, Hazel Parker, Ralph Wilson, Vance Wilson, Cleo Turk and Johnny Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Wilson; his children, Donnie Wilson (Melinda) of Charleston, Sherrill, Jody Irvin of Charleston, Shela and Bryan Freeman of Subiaco; his grandchildren, Kausha Cox, Michael Wilson, Caleb Irvin, Emily McCool, Baylie Irvin, Bryant Lea Freeman and Dustin Freeman; and his sisters, Shirley Scott and Helen Jones. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at 1000 W Main St, Lavaca, AR 72941. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (18 Prairie St, Charleston, AR 72933). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
