He was predeceased by : his parents, John Arvil and Hattie Mae Ward (Rucker); and his brothers, David Ward and Ephraim Ward. He is survived by : his wife Melba Peel Ward; his children, Johnny Ward (Annette) of Charlotte, David Ward (Melissa) of Cedar Grove, Phyllis Martin (Jim) of Rosie and Kathy Franks (Doug) of Charlotte; and his sisters, Louise Cagle of Paragould and Loeda Carter (J. W.) of Conway. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
