She was predeceased by : her parents, Alson Weaver and Una Mae Weaver (Churchill); her husband Walker Wood; her son Hersheal Wood; and her grandson Brandon Wood.

She is survived by : her son Dennis Wood of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Cindy Bishop (Kerwin), April Wood (Doug Osier) and Cameron Wood (Amy); her great grandchildren, Casey Coles, Clayton Mack, Bryce Bishop (Haley), Heath Bishop, Whitney Turner (Jeremiah), Chantrey Wood, Brooklyn Wood, Brady Wood, Kenzey Wood, Cameron Morris and Madison Morris; her great great grandchildren, Easton Mack and Rebecca Jane Turner; her sister Ruth Wood of Batesville; her daughter-in-law Karon Wood McGill; and her close friend Kathy Chapman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
