He is survived by: his children, Freda, Reda and Kenneth; his wife Mary Conwell; his son Hython Conwell Jr. of Memphis; his stepchildren, Tacia Cole of Forrest City, Zella Barber of Forrest City and Benita Randle of Forrest City; and his sisters, Minnie M. Conwell of St. Louis, Aretha Blanchett of Haynes, Eva Mason (Leroy) of Beck Spur and Georgia C. Tyus of Colt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
