He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Finus and Ella Mae Workman Nichols; and his siblings, Olita Fay Stockton and Steve F. Nichols. He is survived by : his wife Nina Bewley Nichols of Coal Hill; his children, Samanatha Nichols, Tyra Williams, James T. Nichols and John Stover; and his siblings, Nellie Johnson, Bernetta Cooper, Linda Johnson, Gladys Pitts, Roger, Doug and Allen Nichols. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
