He was predeceased by: his parent Eddie; and his siblings, Glenn, Norman, Howard, Geneva, Flora, Thelma and Ruth.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Thomas; his children, Steven Gabbard (Enna) of Elkins, Bobby Gabbard of Combs and Sharon Kendrick (Allen) of Hindsville; his granddaughters, Rachel Bradley (David) of West Fork and Amy Johnson of Hindsville; his great grandchild Dixie Bradley; and his sister Helen Rockwell (Bob) of Abilene, Kansas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
