He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William "Bill" Monroe Dodgen, Cecilia Marie Dodgen (Kaufman) of Alexander, Arkansas, Raymond and Gwen Tedford (Smith) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and his godparents, Bob and Pat Schaefers of Conway, Arkansas..

He is survived by: his parents, William "Bill" Dodgen and Virginia Dodgen of Conway, Arkansas; his sister Sara Nutt (Toby) of Alma; and his sibling's children, Bella, Julia Nutt of Conway, Tristan and Colton Nutt of Alma.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home (1751 Dave Ward Dr, Conway, AR 72034). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (5236 LA-56, Chauvin, LA 70344).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Joseph School.
