Anita Jane Taylor Farquhar Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anita Jane Taylor Farquhar (De Queen, Arkansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elve C. Taylor and Inez B. Sims Taylor; her grandparents, William D Taylor, Donna Westfield Taylor Meon, W. T. Young (Bill) and Edna Sims Young; her brother James Thomes Taylor; her daughter-in-law Pam Farquhar; and her great grandchild Emma Lyle.
She is survived by: her children, Kurt Wayne Farquhar Jr. (Laura) of Lockesburg and Cindy Marlene Williams (Kirk) of Lockesburg; her grandchildren, Colby Farquhar (Jess) of Sallisaw, Jesse Farquhar (Candice) of Belfair Washington, Laken Gentry of De Queen, Chance Pearson (Kayla) of Lockesburg and Whitley Williams of Lockesburg; her sisters, Carol Bishop of Nashville, Leesa Kemp of Ashdown and Lucy Mize of Ben Lomond, Arkansas; her sister-in-law Sandy Taylor of Lockesburg; her close friend Carrie Kesterson of Lockesburg; and her cousin Linda Stubbs of De Queen. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
