She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Scott and Ethel Scott; her husband Hobert Gene Akins; and her son Hobert Gene Akins Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Clay (Kimberly), Ida Rupp (Daniel), Ethie Tensel (Scott), Truman (Melanie), Glenda Wise (Dave), Lawanna Stuck (Don), Marjie Jenkins (Craig) and Daniel (Akelia); and her brothers, Dub Scott, Franklin Scott, Albert Scott and Ernie Scott. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
