She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Williams and Eula Basham Williams; her husband Granville B. Matthews; her siblings, Wallace Williams, Cotton Williams, Doyne Williams and Nadine Jones; and her great grandchild Telilah McGhee.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Matthews (Brenda) of Malvern, Richard Matthews (Charlotte) of Donaldson, David Matthews of Bismarck and Mark Matthews of Friendship; and her sister Betty Williams McDade of San Manuel, Arizona. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
