She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Chatman and Easter Mae Terry Chatman; her husband Wallace Spencer; and her brothers, Nathaniel Spencer and Franklin.
She is survived by: her sisters, Della Chatman and Velma Benton; her children, Linda Spencer, Dorothy Spencer of Dumas, Gwendolyn Henderson of Gould, Erica Spencer of Houston, Venus Spencer of Joplin, Freddie Black of Little Rock, Arthur Galloway of Houston, Willie Spencer of Joplin, Anthony, Tyrone Spencer of Omaha and Daniel Spencer of Dumas; and her brothers, Albert King, Billy Chatman of Dumas, James Chatman of Pine Bluff and Freddie Whitfield of California. She is also survived by grandchildren and (15) great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
