He is survived by: his wife Janie Knowles; his children, B. J. Knowles (Robin), Jana Knowles and Lacie Benafield (Blake); his brothers, Louis Knowles and Billy Knowles (Martha); and his grandchildren, Kalyn Knowles, Wil Benafield and Cole Benafield.
