He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann "Susie" Mettler (Archibald); his son William Rowland "Willie" Mettler, Jr. of Memphis; his grandchildren, Kody McClung, Sarah "Brenden" Johnson, Jessie, Jacob and Amaya Mettler; his great grandchildren, Addie, Charlie, Georgia, Skylar and Elizabeth Johnson; his sister-in-law Pamela Lynn Winkle (Archibald) of Hornersville; his nephews, Charles Gene "Bud" Winkle of Hornersville, Jason Lynn Winkle of Senath and Zachary Jacob Winkle (Winkle); his great-niece Emma Reece Winkle; his pets, Chihuahua, Lulu, Willow, Tiger, Andy and Lucky; and also Monte Kim Winkle.
