It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Carl Schlicker (Edgemont, Arkansas), born in Sealy, Texas, who passed away on October 7, 2018, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parent Harold Schlicker; and his brother Donald Wayne Schlicker. He is survived by : his parent Avis Vivian Rice; his wife Marlene Ann Gaeth Schlicker of Edgemont; his children, Melanie Schlicker of Nevada, Donald Schlicker and Emalie Cobb; his siblings, David Schlicker, Janice Anderson, Evelyn Volz and Arden Schlicker; his aunts, Annie Rice of Texas and Clarice Anderson of California; and his grandchildren, Jacob Schlicker, Owen Schlicker, Lleyton Schlicker, Holden Schlicker, Moira Schlicker, Ferrah Cobb, Braelynn Cobb, Scarlett Cobb and Harper Cobb. He is also survived by des other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Other Side of Wilburn, Arkansas or Orphan Grain Train Nevada Sierra Branch of Sparks, Nevada.
