It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Russell Cottrell of El Dorado, Arkansas, who passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer LaRoy and Marjorie Maxine Griffith Cottrell; his wife Lajuana Dale Davis Cottrell; his sister Nancy Wilson; and his friends, Lenny Luker and Bill Givens.
He is survived by: his sons, Todd Cottrell (Myra) and Chris Cottrell (Shannan); his sister Debbie Cook (Larry); his grandchildren, Jake (Kaitlyn), Brooke, Matthew (Linda), Clint, Madelyn, Jordyn, Chase and Alex (Amora); his great grandchildren, Quinn, Kye, Emma Jane, Beau, Carter and Stella; and his granddaughter Linda Caldwell.
