He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregoria Gonzales and Concepcion Gonzales; and his brother Reno. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Maskewit; his close friend JoeAnne Barnett; and his children, Christina Maskewit, Teresa Hitzeman (Steve), Albert Gonzales, Anthony Gonzales, Suzann Jonson, Stephanie Krupka and Michael Boss. He is also survived by his children and loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family is grateful to the doctors and staff at the COVID ICU at VA Hospital of Fayetteville for the compassionate care provided to Johnny.
