He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Cooper and Doris Skelton; and his sister Imogene Lasater of Pea Ridge, Arkansas.. He is survived by: his wife Delia LaVerne Cooper; his children, Brad Cooper (Nita Cooper) of Fayetteville and Sherry Massey (Brad Massey) of Little Rock; and his grandchildren, Bryant Cooper, Olivia Cooper, Seth Massey and Kailee Massey.
