It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerry Whittenton (Forrest City, Arkansas), born in Saint Francis, Arkansas, who passed away on July 23, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Clarence Alford and Mary Blanche Roberts Alford; her spouse Ernest Whittenton; her daughters, Diane Halbert, Tom McCord of Palestine and Pam McCord; her brother Clarence Alford Jr. of Forrest City; and her grandsons, Tommy Halbert of Leander, Steve Halbert of Leander and John C. McCord of Leander.
