It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hersaline Winfrey Rogers (Forrest City, Arkansas), who passed away on March 13, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Winfrey and Emmie Lane Winfrey; her husband Nathaniel Rogers, Sr.; her children, Ethel Rogers Hayden Dozier, Dwight Rogers and Gregory L. Rogers; and her siblings, Robert Winfrey, Charlie Winfrey, Viola Parker, Ruthie Reed, Elza Arnold, Gertrude Sims and Peggy Ingram.
She is survived by: her siblings, Amos Winfrey, Jr. and Joann Winfrey; her sister-in-law Connie M. Winfrey; and her friend Dimple Brown. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
