With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Earnestine Gates Boggan of Forrest City, Arkansas, born in Benton, Arkansas, who passed away on September 21, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virgil Gates and Lorene Wise Gates; her husband Jim Boggan; her son Bryan Boggan of Forrest City; and her siblings, Nancy Gates Glenn of Benton, Barbara Gates Elrod of Benton and Anthony Gates. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forrest City Area Humane Society, the American Cancer Society, or Hospice Elite.
