It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn McCoy Jones Sharp (Forrest City, Arkansas), born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Lee McCoy Sr. and Dorothy; her husband Lester W. Jones; her son Lester Wesley Jones Jr.; and her sister Deloris Gail Bokker.
She is survived by : her children, Brenda Wicker (Tommy) of West Memphis and Jody Jones of Forrest City, Arkansas; her siblings, Bryan McCoy (Marla) of Fort Worth, Texas, Jesse Lee McCoy Jr. (Eva) of Forrest City and Billy K. McCoy of Forrest City, Arkansas.; and her grandchildren, Tonya Brasfield of West Memphis, Brandi Koons of West Memphis, Jeremy Gore of West Memphis, Skyler Haycraft Sides of Jonesboro and Courtney Watson of Olive Branch. She is also survived by great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
