He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Sam Threat; his parents, Nancy Belle Peeler and John Erven; his siblings, Tom E., James Joseph, George A., Jerry O., Jack Albert Threat, Lois Evergene Threat Jones and Mary Alice Threat Stuck; his wife Margaret; his children, Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Cooper (Michael) of Severn, John E. Threat, III (Emily) and Neysa Lynn Pendergrass (David) of Forrest City; his grandchildren, Matthew Cooper (Margot), Tyler Cooper, Megan Threat, Amy Hoops (Alex), James Pendergrass (Mallory), Gabriel Crumley, Brett Pendergrass and Garrett Crumley; his great grandchildren, Weston and Lisa Marie Pendergrass; and his sisters-in-law, Novella Threat, Viola Threat and Helen Threat. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
