She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl S. Appling and Lois I. Forrester Appling; her spouse V. L.'Pat'Burfield; her brother Aubrey Joe'A. J.' Appling; and her son-in-law Brett Banks.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Burfield of Hardy and Mary Lois Banks of Tyronza; her brother Alton Appling of West Memphis; her grandson Patrick Burfield of Memphis; Ray and Doris McKinney.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be made to the First Baptist Church, 507 N. Rosser, Forrest City, Arkansas, 72335.
