He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Avery Mitchell and Vera Maddox Mitchell; his wife Jessie Mitchell; and his children, Barbara Moody, Don Mitchell of West Monroe, LA, Annette Willis of Blue Mountain, MS, Vera Brundige (Brian) of New Market, TN and Sue Busby of Forrest City. He was also cherished by twenty-three grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren.
