As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Sarah Patricia may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Harvey Shaw and Earnestine Nelson Shaw; her husband Herman V. Jones; and her brothers, J. Harvey Shaw, Jr. (Bub) and James E. Shaw (Jolly).
She is survived by: her children, Antonio D. Jones of Forrest City, AR, Aldric F. Jones of Memphis, TN, Daphne L. Lott of Virginia Beach, VA and Myra E. Burnette of Forrest City, AR; and her sister Gwendolyn Cooper of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
